Few months back i purchased a Dual Mode USB drive which can be slotted to a normal USB port as well as a Micro USB port. Recently i have been noticing a few companies like Sandisk and also Sony claiming to be revealing the first ever of its kind Dual Mode USB drive. Well i purchased this drive 3-4 months ago for a reasonable price.

I have noticed more companies bringing up such devices, but the price seems to be increasing as time passes by, not sure if the price is put at such thinking they are the first to introduce such device. As for me having such a drive means extreme portability. I can now copy movies to the drive and watch it on my Laptop and also on my mobile device. So do i consider the drive to be a Micro SD card replacement? Well, i still have a card installed on my phone. Now transferring data from mobile device to another is easy. While i have been enjoying using the device, i intend to use it for some dark purposes as well! 🙂

So would i recommend such a drive to others? YES!
